I am the founder of New York African Chorus Ensemble(NYACE). This organization takes the joy of music to hospitals, nursing homes, places of special care, and low income communities We believe that no illness or poverty should prevent anyone from benefiting from the healing properties of music.

I am also concerned about the "struggling musicians" who work so hard to add more beauty to the world, but live on or below the poverty line. NYACE provides them with additional musical skills and jobs.

I want to bring the beauty of African art music to as many people as possible. I am encouraged by audiences' responce to my performances; I know that this genre of music has international appeal.

I enjoy helping people see that they can do and have whatever they focus their mind and energy on.
