Al-Ihsan Academy run out of Islamic Center of Detroit(ICD) has a huge deficit and is unable to make payroll on time which is causing a hardship on the staff and their families. Students are taught the religion of Islam, encouraging students to be kind, peace-loving members of society. They are taught the message of the Prophet Mohammad(peace be upon him) to be good to our neighbors, mindful of our community and extend the words of peace to all we meet. This school, inshAllah, will instill a moral compass in this generation of students to help them navigate life in an Islamic manner. Close

The Islamic Center of Detroit is a non profit, independent organization which was established in the year of 2000. The prime goal of the ICD is to foster and create an Islamic environment for the Muslim community in the Metro Detroit area by providing religious, educational and recreational activities for its members and the members of the public at large. Among the primary goals of the Islamic Center of Detroit is the outreach to the non-Muslims in the community and educate the public about Islam.
