About Me/Testimonial

I, although only sixteen, do all that I can to take part in various volunteer activities. I live a busy life. I am a junior in high school and I have a part-time job. I feels that it is rare for me to have leisure time. I dedicate some of my time to many volunteer opportunities, and I feel everyone one should do so as well. Anything is possible, and a small amount of time makes a huge difference. Along with volunteering, I enjoy spending time with my friends, cooking, and running track. These aspects in life are simple and can by integrated into volunteer work. You can go with friends to a Salvation Army location to volunteer. Also events like 5k runs for water in basic or breast cancer are available. One can also cook for others who do not have the funs or ability to do so, such as the elderly or the homeless. As you can tell I am interested in volunteer work, so it is no surprise that I truly value Habitat for Humanity. It is important to me, because I value being able to live in a home and have shelter, something millions of people are not granted with. I think it is never to late to help others. Habitat for Humanity does just this. That is why I chose Habitat for Humanity for my cause. They have built thousands of homes for people who have lost everything to natural disasters. I appreciate what the organization entails.
