45 Million people are visually handicapped in India and 12 Million are totally blind. On the positive side over 80% of the visually handicapped people can be given the Gift of Vision by a simple Cataract Surgery Costing just $30. Close

SEF's mission is "Vision 20/20 by 2020", to eradicate curable blindness in India by 2020. Towards this end, SEF has already built eight hospitals all over India and performed over 750,000 FREE eye surgeries.
This campaign is "Gift of Vision 2000", to collectively raise support for 2,000 free eye surgeries at our eye hospitals. A gift of a mere $30 opens an eye and other popular options are 'Open an eye a month' for a year for $360 and 'Open an eye a week' for one year for $1500.
We will be performing over 120,000 free eye surgeries this year alone and this campaign will surely help.
