Ever since watching the Dateline MSNBC feature highlighting what is taking place in Uganda, my life hasn't been the same. Each night, children between the ages of 3-10 are walking 5 miles to a safety shelter, all to make the return walk the next morning. These shelters are packed with 100's of children, providing a dirt floor to sleep and a blanket of safety throughout the night. As a parent of two, I simply could not sit on the sidelines and not do anything. I hope to, through the user of YourCause.com, educate others about Uganda, the LRA, and what all is taking place and what we can do about it.

It's my personal goal to raise both awareness and funds to help support the efforts aimed at helping the children of Uganda.
