I am a 25 year old wife, mother, and Mary Kay Sales Director. In May 2008, my Aunt, who was very special to me, lost her long battle with cancer. The phrase, "cancer affects each of us in some way, shape, or form" is so true.

So, in memory of her, I have started “Makeovers with a Mission” to raise money and awareness for Cancer. I am hoping to extend “Makeovers with a Mission” into my local hospital where my Aunt spent a tremendous amount of her time or into hospice. This cause is still in infancy, but my long-term goal for this cause is to volunteer and bring some joy into lives of those suffering from this disease as well. The MKACF also supports a number of other women's causes such as putting an end to domestic violence. So… How does Makeovers with a Mission work? As a Mary Kay Consultant, I conduct skin care classes that consist of a host and 3-5 of the host's friends and/or family. More importantly, a skin care class is 100% FREE. It is a 1-2 hr pampering session that includes a deep tissue facial product trial and a light makeover. Products are available to purchase during your skin care class should you decide to do so. A portion of my profits from every skin care class or online sales will be donated to support the Mary Kay Ash Charitable Foundation via this website. This website is AMAZING! The success of this cause can be tracked via the website and is available for you to view 24/7. It allows me to show you that your purchases and donations are going towards a great cause.
