For many years now our communities have been broken. It's time for change and time for us to come together heal, respect one another and rebuild! Our communitites are in desparate need of solid resources! Together we can do this and be whole!
Families are losing their jobs, their aid, benefits are being cut, affordable living and children resources are limited! With these changes rapidly happening aren't able to feed and provide for their families. The Blues and R & B Music Foundation, Inc. is just one of many organizations trying to do our part to , we want to restore and rebuild our communities. Together we can be strong again! I've spoken to many who has been struggling with just day to day survival! I have also helped those in need and have assembled a great team of like minded individuals dedicated to community outreach work! Folks have become more broken and really don't know who to trust or what to believe! I know first hand how that feels and know how important it is to have Hope and that you're not alone, you're not being judged and you're not being looked down on. I believe that the Lord has a plan for us and thats to love one another and help one another! Together we can rebuild and restore and the broken can be strengthened and turned into UNITY and LOVE! MISSION STATEMENT


The Blues and R & B Music Foundation, Inc. is a San Francisco-based Non-Profit organization dedicated to the exhibition and preservation of blues, rhythm and blues and will eventually incorporate all genres of music.

The Blues and R & B Music Foundation, Inc. is a community development that fosters cross-cultural communication. A diverse community that shares values about individual growth and the kind endeavors that should be encouraged. We believe diversity should be recognized and celebrated as a community’s great strength. We believe strongly in the community and the continuation of building our community.

Our foundation has been assembled to present, promote and preserve a unique African American form of music with a rich history in San Francisco, and in the community of the Fillmore District. It is our goal to continue to create exhibition opportunities for local blues musicians and to help them as performers, assist them to organize and present the blues to the public and secure performances venues and promote their acts.

We would like to assist the next generation of artist in the community and reassure the continuation of this musical form. Our goal is to restore the vision of blues in San Francisco a culturally diverse city. Also, provide instruments and scholarships to aspiring musicians.

Our communities have been broken for a very long time. Our organization could not ignore this broken state and have been cultivating ways to help restore our communities posture back to a positive state! We have created after school programs to teach music history and music appreciation. We look forward to opening at various sites to give free to the public music lessons. Our goal is to raise monies to provide music instruments, music books, stands and funding for music lessons.

We will also be implementing courses originating from the mural project we've completed on the Post Street side on the Hamilton Recreation Building in San Francisco, CA. This project will be an extension of educational courses; we would like to present in the Unified School District/colleges. This will be our first book project, hopefully with many opportunities teaching throughout the country as a positive legacy to pass on to all interested, all ages and ethnicity backgrounds etc.

We have also expanded our vision by meeting community needs with Community Outreach programs such as: Youth Outreach, Men and Women Outreach, Prison and Homeless Outreach programs! We will bring more after school programs, athletic programs, job training, youth and adult trips, youth and adult support groups, clothes assistance, food pantries, debt counseling, GED and education programs and many other services. We will provide our communities with the necessary referrals to organizations that will assist individuals with their needs we’re unable to meet.

Community is very important and we believe there is strength in numbers. Together we will continue to strive to rebuild and restore hope, love and unity strengthening our communities!
