I am currently a high school junior who is interested in helping children receive an education involving music in their curriculum. I was involved in my district's band program for all 3 years of middle school and 2 years into high school. After 5 years of hard work, I decided to end my musical career at school. Although I did quit, music is still a significant part of my life and I continue to listen, play, and learn music frequently. I chose VH1's Save The Music Foundation to help children in America have the same experience I had and feel the power music has within the world.
