The Iraq Star Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing the necessary reconstructive surgeries to assist war veterans recovering from physical and mental injuries. It's the Foundation's hope that reconstructive surgery will also help our veterans heal from emotional trauma, increase self-esteem, and ease their return from their pre-war lives.

I want to raise awareness to the significance of the Iraq Star Foundation, and how they are helping so many veterans heal their wounds way past what the army can provide. I have seen in person many soldiers who's faces were disfigured from bombs and attacks; Iraq Star provided free surgery and care to help the veterans. They have partnered with many surgeons all across the states to help, and are still looking for more doctors and donations to help make it possible.
