Cheers for Charity, founded in 1994, is a non profit women's organization working to create a brighter future for children living at- risk in Dallas, Texas. Each year, Cheers for Charity selects a Dallas based children's agency and works with the organization's staff to determine an area of greatest need. Once the need is determined, the women of Cheers for Charity begin to raise the funds and resources necessary to accomplish the specific goal. Cheers for Charity was founded on the premise that smalls acts of kindness can make a big difference. It is the " one project at a time" approach that allows the charity to focus on making a large impact in an area of great need. Each year, usually in the fall, Cheers for Charity hosts an event to give thanks to its Board and generous supporters. Representatives for the beneficiary always attend so that they can continue to promote their agency and how it serves the children of Dallas. I is a true celebration of community and always a magical night!
