I credit my mother’s inspiration for her passion to educate individuals about the importance of early detection and cancer prevention and I pledges to reach out to as many individuals as possible in hopes to spark conversation about cancer and demystifying the negative stigma, which makes people so scared to talk about the illness. She states, “It is important to remember there is hope after a cancer diagnosis.
