I am riding my bike from Grand Rapids, MI to Ansted, WV on June 8 to raise money for Coal River Mountain Watch, a non-profit organization that assists victims of mountaintop removal (MTR) coal mining, an extraction process that often leaves people without access to clean drinking water. Coal River Mountain watch both assists those whose homes have already been destroyed by MTR and also works to stop mining on Coal River Mountain.

The ride is about 500 miles long.

My goal is to raise awareness and funds for the Appalachian victims of mountaintop removal coal mining by biking 500 miles.
