Unfortunetly cancer has not been completely eliminated and is still killing, children one at a time. Each day, more children survive because of donations, which make all the difference. Every doller, every dime, even every penny matters and can help save a life. Would you be willing to give a quarter for a child's life? Testimonial: The only child I have ever known that has had cancer was my next door neighbor named Nathan. He was 3 years old when he was diagnosed with kidney cancer and had to have one of his kidneys removed as well as chemo therapy. It has been about 5 years since then and the cancer has stayed in remission. The other two people I know that have had cancer were my grandparents. Unfortunetly, they both got it when they were quite old and neither of them survived it. It was hard for my to see them die of cancer, but it was even more difficult seeing my young neighbor get diagnosed with it. Nathan's life was just beginning and I felt that it was not right to have cancer at such a young age. I am extremely grateful that he survived it though. I have seen so many commercials and infomercials about St. Jude and I know if a that the last person I would want to have cancer is a child.
