In June 2006 my grandmother was diagnosed with Hodgkins Lymphoma. This disease typically has a high survival rate which seemed to offer our family promise for survival during the onset of her diagnosis and treatment. Unfortunately, her age and the spread of her cancer made her battle very short and difficult. In September of 2006 my grandmother loss her battle to this disease.

Next to God, my grandmother was the most important person in my life and I just wish that this disease had not taken her life. In her honor, I take up this cause with hopes that the donations raised will help eradicate the Leukemia and Lymphoma family of cancer.
