Travelers worldwide have donated their points to aid the victims of the January 12, 2010 earthquake that devastated the country of Haiti. Hilton HHonors, the loyalty program for Hilton Worldwide’s portfolio of brands, has partnered with the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies, the world's largest humanitarian organization, to provide an opportunity for HHonors members to donate their points to support Haiti earthquake relief efforts. In addition, Hilton HHonors pledged to match the total number of member donations – dollar-for-dollar – up to $250,000
Since Hilton HHonors announced the dollar-for-dollar match, approximately 5,766 Hilton HHonors members have donated more than $361,225. Together, with the match, Hilton HHonors and its members have contributed $611,225 to the Red Cross efforts in Haiti. Donations will go toward relief items such as mosquito nets, blankets, sleeping mats, tents, shelter tool kits, hygiene parcels, kitchen sets, buckets, tarpaulins and water purification tablets.

Our thoughts are with the people of Haiti and we thank our members for their generosity.”
