My Cause is to raise funds for Long Island Bulldog Rescue During the months of June thru August the volume of Bulldog Surrenders and abandonments increases dramatically. Our project encompasses, rescueing, rehabilitating, providing veterinary care, assessing placeability and rehoming, if possible, an average of 30 bulldogs per month who have been either abused, neglected, abandoned or surrendered, for whatever reason (economy, moving, etc).

Our project encompasses, rescueing, rehabilitating, providing veterinary care, assessing placeability and rehoming, if possible, an average of 30 bulldogs per month who have been either abused, neglected, abandoned or surrendered, for whatever reason (economy, moving, etc).
Education of the public is also important. The more people know and understand about this unique breed, the more they are prepared to take care of them correctly. Providing an information network benefits everyone and keeps a bulldog out of Rescue.

Mission Statement:
My mission is two fold:
First is to help raise funds that will be used to offset the overwhelming medical costs associated with rescuing these unique and loving dogs. (this is an ongoing project)
The second is to recruit volunteers who will participate in the fostering (long or short term) aspect of rescue as well as provide transportation for the dogs and home checks which enable us to place them in safe loving furever homes.
