The Ugandan American Partnership Organization is a non-profit that collaborates with indigenous ministries in Uganda to direct projects such as orphanages and schools. Through partnerships, a community of fellowship is forged as we work, share, and connect with each other through the love of Jesus Christ.
UAPO addresses the overwhelming needs of Uganda by empowering future leaders of the country to make sustainable changes for the future. By partnering with Ugandan ministries who have God-breathed visions for their people, UAPO merges development with fellowship.
UAPO has four projects that serve the Kampala, Jinja, and Kamuli districts. The Mutungo Project is building an orphanage that will soon house 180 children. While focusing on the immediate need for quality facilities, UAPO assists the orphanage ministry and their current children in a variety of ways.
The Akola Project is an economic and community development program designed for self-sustainability and relief for widows and orphans.
The Mukisa Project endeavors to equip rural villages with the education, facilities, and medical resources necessary to create healthy, autonomous communities.
Our newest project, the Amaazi Project, is designed to provide fresh water to rural villages and spiritually encourage hearts by demonstrating the purifying source of life in Jesus Christ.

The Ugandan American Partnership Organization is a registered 501(c)3 non-profit founded in 2006 by Brittany Merrill in an effort to build an orphanage for a Ugandan woman she met in 2004. Today, the organization has grown to four projects that aim to address the needs of impoverished men, women and children in Uganda.
Currently UAPO works in conjunction with Ugandan non-governmental organizations. The Mutungo Project's objective is to build an orphanage and medical center for Ranch On Jesus Ministries. It is located in Kampala, the capital city of Uganda.
The Mukisa Project's purpose is to assist rural villages in central Uganda. The Akola and Amaazi Projects work in conjunction with the Mukisa Project to bring jobs and water to isolated villages.
