100 Black Men of America, Inc. is a confederation of all existing “100 Black Men” Chapters formed to marshal a force of outstanding men whose collective training, skills and experience seek to achieve meaningful gains for the African-American community. In keeping with this national purpose, the mission of 100 Black Men of Maryland, Inc. is to substantially improve the chance of success of youth, specifically males, and to help them achieve responsible, self-sufficient and law abiding manhood by their participation in programs designed to build self-esteem, develop appropriate moral values, motivate and promote cultural competence, and to the extent possible, assist them in the pursuit of higher education and life long learning. To realize this mission, our chapter focuses time, talent, and resources on: - Education - Economic Development - Youth Development - Fund Raising - Public Relations - Social Activities - Health and Wellness - Scholarship - Mentorship Our Vision We aspire to be the State’s leading organization engaged in shaping the future of the State, and the productive capacity of the African American youth.
