Hello:

My name is Denise Williams-Butler. I had the honor of working with Chad 11 years ago. I was a sergeant at the Dixie County Sheriff's Dept Corrections & Communications Division. When I got the call on Thursday, January 14, 2010 that Chad had been shot and killed in the line of duty. I immediately began making plans to travel from Atlanta, GA back home to Dixie County, FL to say farewell to our fallen hero.

While sitting in the balcony at First Baptist Church of Cross City listening to Pastor Mike Brown. I heard him talk about how after Chad listened to the International Children's Choir he made a decision to build a well to help poor improvished people receive clean water. Isn't that just like Chad! Always willing to lend a helping hand to those in need.

While driving back to Atlanta, Georgia that Well is all I could think about. I thought about what an honor it would be to build that Well in Chad's honor. Then maybe someday CJ & Caden will be able to travel to another country to see the Well that was built to save the lives of many, because their dad laid down his life for the people of Dixie County, FL.

Please help me make this dream of Chad's a reality by donating to our cause. We need to raise $15,000 to build a Deep Bore Well that will provide clean water to 1,000 people for the next 20 years.

Chad, thank you for inspiring me to do more than just exist in life. Thank you for teaching me to LIVE!
