UCAP Vision Statement:

Universal Community Advocacy Programs is a multi-service non profit organization whose mission is to advocate on behalf of those whose voices are being ignored and provide high quality assistance and resources that are consistently available and responsive to the needs of families and individuals to improve their quality of life. UCAP works with the community to contribute, facilitate, and initiate personal and social change by reaching out to as many youth, adults and seniors as possible through increased public and professional awareness concerning sexual health issues. We provide testing for STD's and HIV and link individuals to HIV primary medical care. We teach the importance of protecting sexual health by promoting abstinence and safer sex practices. Some of our other services include peer education; behavioral health services including group and individual therapy; support groups; training and outreach programs; specialized women's services; health promotion and harm reduction initiatives, translation assistance, and child care support; HIV treatment/education; supportive counseling; and much more. These comprehensive programs promote the well-being, empowerment, and stability of persons who are living throughout urban and rural communities.
