We are devoted to the rescue, rehabilitation and placement of abused, abandoned or unwanted dogs. Our priority is on foundlings, dogs from the homes of terminally ill owners and those left behind after their owner has passed on. When space is available we will also help with dogs whose owners are divorcing or have lost their home. Financial limitations prevent us from having more than 3 or 4 dogs in our care at any one time. Each of our rescued dogs in placed in a foster home where toilet training and basic house manners are taught (or re-taught !) During this time, an assessment is made of the dog and its' particular needs with regard to a permanent home. Veterinary care is ongoing. Any obvious health problems are treated, and all necessary shots given. All dogs are either spayed or neutered prior to adoption.
